"Campaign Monitor works perfectly with the flow of our company, and brings a feeling of something that 'just fits'. It does what we need and does it exceptionally well."

  2. Update: Display the most recently sent campaign on your site

    Display the most recent campaigns

If you didn't already know, we make it dead easy to display sent campaigns on your own or your client's sites. You can even specify which campaigns we display and which ones we skip, which is handy if you're sending test campaigns.

Up until now, you could display a link to the last 5, 10 or all campaigns sent for that client. After a few requests, we've just addded a fourth option allowing you to only display the most recently sent campaign.

On top of this update, we've also modified how these past campaigns are displayed. Previously, the full personalization tag was being displayed (such as [companyname, fallback=your company]) but from today, we only display the fallback terms you specify.

  3. Samoset Resort Newsletter

    Samoset Resort Newsletter

    Designed by Brian Collins

This great looking monthly email sent by Samoset Resort caught our eye as a great example of a newsletter that gets the message across no matter what email environment their recipient is using.

I see a lot of designs go through Campaign Monitor that take the easy option of using a single large image for the email header and other key content. As we discussed recently, this can make it very hard for many of your recipients to preview the email and decide if it deserves more attention.

By ensuring the title in the masthead and all other content in the email is text based, every recipient can dig into the content immediately, even with images disabled.

  5. Update: Support for those tricky email addresses

Just a quick one. A few customers have had problems recently trying to import rare email addresses that have strange characters, such as the plus (+) and forward slash (/). After running a few tests to ensure these characters are widely supported, we've just updated our email address filters to allow both of these kinds of addresses to be imported.
