We're big fans of this extremely informative monthly email sent by Los Angeles based e-commerce solutions firm Varien.
This email is a fantastic example of complimenting your promotional email with loads of useful content for both current and potential customers. As well as promoting some of their recent launches, the newsletter also includes links to interesting screencasts on their blog and interviews with other people in the industry.
On a side note, I was interviewed by Varien on the role of email marketing for those selling online.
