Over at the Email Standards Project we've been continuing our efforts to reach the right people from the major email clients, so we can work with them on improving the rendering of HTML and CSS in email.

We've had some early success which is really encouraging. One notably quiet company so far has been Google - Gmail is an awesome email client but has some issues when it comes to rendering HTML email.

So we've decided to take a leaf out of the Google book and have a bit of fun at the same time with Project Gmail Grimace. Join the Gmail Grimace Flickr group and upload your own portrait of rendering pain.
