Gallery: Fresh Updates
Balancing creativity and informality with readability, this entry is from Dave Glass of Fresh. We really enjoy the friendly feel created by the hand drawn elements and photography. At the same time, the structure holds together with consistent alignment and it remains easy to scan and read.
Although the headings could easily be in text instead of images, the email has an inviting feel that leaves you with a positive impression. It's only Issue one for Fresh - keep up the good work Dave!

Thanks Matt for including fresh in your archives.
I think your product is fantastic, incredibly easy to use and well priced too. What makes freshview really stand out though is your exceptionally welcoming web presence, which is showcased through your simple designs, focus on usability and friendly voice used in the introduction pages and the forums.
PS: I really would have preferred the headings to be html. In the end though, I did not want to compromise the look and feel when presented in gmail. If you have any tips for displaying images behind in headings in gmail, I am all ears.
