Berkeley Cinemas Newsletter
Designed by web produce group
All I can say is, I wish my local cinema sent out newsletters like this every week.
Berkeley Cinemas, a New Zealand based chain of cinemas use Campaign Monitor to keep their thousands of members in the loop about what's showing, new movies that are coming up and special member promotions.
The design does a great job of highlighting the key releases for the week, but also giving quick access to a list of every movie showing for the next week.

Brasserie Bread
Designed by David James
Ok ok, maybe I'm being a little biased here, but it's only so often we feature an email that we can actually take advantage of.
Brasserie Bread, famous for their delicious breads and pastries have just opened shop not far from the Campaign Monitor offices. Luckily for us, their email announcing the opening looks great.

Austin Advertising Federation
Designed by Olive Design
This tight little newsletter sent by the Austin Advertising Federation caught our eye recently. Like many of the other designs we've featured recently, this email gets a tick for great looks, scannability, and readability even with images disabled.
Our favourite bit would have to be the unsubscribe link:
"If you are saying, 'Take me off this #*+%$# list', you may unsubscribe here."
Nothing like a little sense of humour to lighten up what's usually the serious section of an email.

The Dish
Designed by Ted Topolewski
A great design for a great cause, The Dish is the official monthly newsletter for Share Our Strength, the United States' leading anti-hunger organization.
The simple layout is very easy to scan and works great even when images aren't displayed. Our only suggestion would be to make the bullet points under "In This Issue" targeted links that allow the recipient to scroll straight to the story itself.
Check out the newsletter and while you're at it, why not join us in making a donation to this great cause.

Minnesota Realtors Resource Update
Designed by House & Home
While this email newsletter from the Minnesota Association of Realtors looks great, it's not the main reason we're featuring it in the gallery today.
What we really wanted to showcase was the welcome use of clear unsubscribe messages throughout the campaign. While the email is 100% permission based (like all mail sent through our software), the sender shows their respect for the subscriber by placing an unsubscribe link at the very top of the email.
I can already see some marketers getting their backs up about this move, but if people don't want to hear from you, hiding a link at the bottom of the email aint gonna make them more interested in what you have to say.

Trident eUpdate
Designed by Trident Communications
We're big fans of this monthly newsletter sent by the international design firm Trident Communications. Not only does the email look great, but it serves a number of purposes very well.
By breaking the newsletter up into bite-sized chunks that are visually separated, subscribers can easily scan the email to find the juicy bits they're interested in. The "Further Information" column on the right of each chunk also ties the story back to their relevant services nicely.
Another feature which is fast becoming a requirement for every email, the design works great when images are disabled. This means that no matter what their recipient's email environment is, the newsletter will still look great and remain easy to read.

Off-Press Newsletter
Designed by Bradley Brown Design Group
This well designed email announcement recently grabbed our attention as a great way to introduce new team members to your customers/subscribers.
Sent by Bradley Brown Design Group, a Pittsburgh-based graphic design firm, the email features quick interviews with each new team member.
One really interesting touch was not only listing the employees signature song, but actually linking to an MP3 version of the song for the recipient to check out themselves.

Fuse Newsletter
Designed by Trusty and Company
Today we're featuring a great monthly newsletter design by Trusty and Company, an Ohio based design and advertising firm.
The big, bold article titles are hard to miss and make the newsletter super easy to scan for the good stuff. On top of their own advice and articles, the newsletter also features unique bits of content their subscribers might find interesting. From spooky recitations by Willem Dafoe to quotes from Einsteen.

Threadless Weekly Newsletter
Designed by skinnyCorp
We were over the moon when the design institution that is Threadless starting using Campaign Monitor for their weekly updates (which we already subscribed to).
For those new to the concept, Threadless is like an endless tee shirt competition where you can submit your own designs and buy some of the coolest tee shirts on the planet.
The weekly newsletter features the latest designs to be printed, reprints and other related announcements. Just the like the site, each issue's copy is very well written and to the point. The sample image for each tee also makes it super easy to scan for any designs you might like to check out.

We loved this great looking monthly email newsletter sent by designer, author and mother Wendy Bellissimo.
The color palette, type and general design style are refreshingly consistent with the products being sold. The newsletter aims to keep customer up to date with the latest releases and it does just that, simply and professionally.
The unsubscribe copy is also well written and almost makes you feel guilty for clicking it.
