Horizon Organic
Designed by Crispin Porter + Bogusky
This great little two column Thanksgiving email sent by Boulder based Horizon Organic caught our eye recently. They do a great job of mixing original and targeted content with related products and a compelling coupon offer. No wonder their click rate is closing in on an impressive 40%.
We also loved the great forward to a friend promo at the bottom of the right column encouraging their subscribers to "Share the Love Sustainably" and mentioning that email uses a fraction of the resources of traditional mail. Indeed.

I’m quite a fan of this one - particularly the related products in the sidebar. Presenting them as graphics means coding the template is much easier, plus it’s super-easy for the client to add more related products. The only drawback to this of course, is that new related products need a designer to create them. As designers, this is great for us though.
