This email from Huge Paper feels just the way I imagine the product being promoted does; smooth, bright and – well – matte.

The soft palette makes for an interesting contrast to the bold type, and notice how almost every element is counterbalanced by another element. The three simple arrow shapes make excellent calls to action, while subtly pointing to their respective explanations.
