Treehouse
Designed by Nerdverk
This fresh and fun campaign, designed by the guys at Nerdverk, combines playful illustrations with beautiful typography (did you ever think Arial could look this stunning?).
The casual feel, and the lovely, soft colors, are very becoming for Treehouse, who sell children’s clothing and toys. Overall, this is a well executed design, which doesn’t rely on images being displayed for any of the main content.
We like the look of the prominent “Share with friends!” section towards the bottom, and a final nice touch is the treehouse icon next to the the business address in the footer.

Looks great, but that bird with the speech bubble just reminds me of Twitter’s logo.

How does lifting the twitter look and feel constitute something fresh? Pray the folks at twitter don’t see this.

Twitter is the only people who are allowed to use birds? Well blow me down.
It’s a tree from the folks at Treehouse. A bird is in the tree, perhaps it would have been more acceptable if the bird was in a nest? or maybe they should have used a squirrel or something.
They just have to make sure that the animal they use isn’t being used by another company or they’d be in big trouble!
