No tricks, all treats:

Party Invitation: ‘Dr. Flahoo’s Halloween Hang Out’
Designed by Kevin Flahaut at Rocket Genius
If I were to receive this in my inbox, I’d reason that an awesome night was in store! The ‘pretty-n-punk’ imagery and comic type are total fun - which I’m sure is how the party turned out.
Kevin noted that this email was sent to a close group of friends - whether you’re sending to 5 or 500, I’m sure this standout design will serve as a great starting point for your next Halloween invitation.
Newsletter: ‘Monster 31% Sale’
Designed by Blik
Gallery veterans Blik have made the cut again with a decidedly ghoulish newsletter, promoting their Halloween sale. The message is simple and you just can’t pull your eyes away from the grunge-green monster… Although whether he’s convinced you to purchase wall coverings is up to you (as long as he doesn’t deliver them, I guess).
The common trend with newsletters is to go for lots of text, lots of thumbnails, lots of everything. Blik has shown us that you can go large with the graphics and trim the copy, with great results. If you’re touting a product as visual as Blik’s, it makes a lot of sense, after all. Bold and inspiring.
Getting in touch with your clients: ‘Free Jaffa Cakes!’
Designed and built by Jose Valdez and Aurélie Fornara at Lion Digital
There’s no denying that this email just looks great in the inbox. The spooky silhouette, playful copy, cool colours and well, the undeniably delicious offer of ‘Free Jaffa Cakes!’ just got us in gear. Plus, what you don’t see in the preview above is the two-frame animation - a subtle, yet expressive touch:

From our friends at Lion Digital:
“Our sister company Lion Creative (www.lioncreative.co.uk) designed a one-off Halloween pack for the world famous McVitie’s Jaffa cake. Our email was sent to new and existing clients promoting the work we did and offering a free pack to anyone interested.”
We can’t think of a better way to get clients engaged, than with an eye-catching email and the lure of tasty, tasty chocolate.

Great use of vector graphics in all three. Halloween seems to lend itself to more creative solutions.
