Really, you just can't go wrong with a super cute drawing of a monster to illustrate your email, right? It's eye-catching and can immediately pique the readers' interest.

Not only that, but the email keeps it short and simple and provides clear call to action for the readers, inviting them to participate. The only suggestion we have is to convert that title at the top to text rather than an image.

    Agreed! Illustration should be used more often in email designs, too. This is one of my favorite recent designs in the gallery - the layout, illustration and sensitivity to color and type make it a winner.

    wow great stuff!  - refreshing and love the out-of-the-box borderless design on flat color.

    anyone know what that title font is.. love it :)

    Only small additonal comment I have is that from the source code, they have added the BG color only in the body tag. hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo strip this out, so prob a good idea in future to also add 100% table with same bg color around the entire design. Otherwise very inspiring :)

    @pixi - The title font is Clarendon!

    Pointed the body bg colour issue out to our Kev (the designer), and he agrees with you - his normal practice these days is to always have a wrapper div as the first element in body, to hold anything which would normally be applied to body. It’s overkill in this instance, but guarantees us a consistent system across projects.

    The links seemed to be pointing to the same place, click on the download poster, it takes you to the video, without any obvious place to go from there. same thing with the link that supposed to take me to the game.?? Using Safari 4.0.4

    Agreed. Rad work. Nice borderless design.
    Great use of depth on a flat surface.

    The flow of layout works really well.

    Hey everybody - thanks for all the comments.  That’s actually quite an old campeign from us - the newest incranation of the Monstrepreneurs is The Amazing Idea which had another monsterous email to go with it.
