Smokin Apps
Designed by Smokin Apps
This clean and jam-packed email by Smokin Apps has really done a great job of introducing their hottest, top ten mobile applications. Font and color variations, well groomed sections and small images to captivate the eye, results in an easily read and organized piece. We really were drawn to their use of simple line borders and text to represent the button links. When images are tuned off, one can tell the thought the designers took to make sure essential information stayed put.

So now when you shamelessly rip off http://wordpress.org , you get advertising from Campaign Monitor?

You mean using blue and the Georgia font? Looks pretty different to me.

Hi Joe, the potential resemblance to another site didn’t make itself obvious to us when we selected this design, so we apologize if you perceive this to be the case. As for considering this to be ‘advertising’, it goes without saying that we select all gallery entries based on aesthetics, technical merit and an adherence to graphic design principles; we’re always happy to debate the value of gallery entries on these grounds. Many thanks for your input! :)
