Lynn Cyr Design
Designed by Lynn Cyr Design
A campaign design talking about a designer should be captivating and show an adherence to design principles and this newsletter from Lynn Cyr Designs doesn't disappoint. With its clean lines and ample use of white space it's easy to scan and read. Great splashes of color in the headings and links catch the eye and the use of images accent nicely, but with images turned off nothing important to the overall message is lost.
We loved the use of a subtle background image in the content blocks. It adds a texture and depth to those sections, but with a nice background color in there as well those clients without background image support aren't being short changed, some just get a little something extra.

Love the design—super read-able. Not sure who this gets mailed to ... is it more personal career news or announcements of business solutions?

@draft3: This is something I send to my existing/past clients, as well as industry colleagues. It serves as a way for me to “stay in their face”, so to speak, and allows them to see what types of projects I’ve been working on. Thanks for the comments!

Great design! Curious how you were able to include that background image. Was this tested in Outlook 2007? In my experience creating emails, background images never work in Outlook 2007.
