Working Three

Can you think of a better way to learn from the social strategy experts, than to nosh with them over free sushi and drinks? I should think not! The creative folks at W3 obviously came to that conclusion when they designed this great announcement for their event.

As self-proclaimed digital activists, they know a thing or two about design - using consistent branding (following their website), clear messaging (links and text are easy to read), and minimal images (using text for headings), they really show how to get the job done well.

Our only advice would be to be careful featuring email addresses and URLs as text, as these can sometimes trigger phishing warnings. But all up, a great campaign that encourages the reader to share it over their social networks… While you’re at it, can you pass over the sushi?

  1. This design appears to be using a background image. I thought that wasn’t possible when sending to Outlook.
