Our goal in the September issue of our quarterly email is to highlight a collaborative Hybrid illustration product from our portfolio. With the world operating at ever increasing speed in all sectors, the Hybrid has evolved to become one of our most requested media as a response to the pressures of shorter timelines. Our Hybrid process can effectively use client design study models (using SketchUp, Form Z, ect.) as a jumping off point to create the final illustration. Using your modelling, we create the further digital details needed to develop the final composite image. Then traditional media is added for important entourage and in selective areas to soften the digital image. Traditional media choices for Hybrids can be colored pencil, marker or watercolor. Samples are available to view in our on-line portfolio.
In many cases electing a Hybrid technique allows our studio to fit a project into our schedule where a traditional media request may not be possible. Flexibility is an attribute that goes far in the rapidly changing world and we pride ourselves on being innovators for our clients.

HYBRID PROJECT

Getting mileage from your model and saving time are two objectives we base our Hybrid technique on. At project initiation our team reviews available modelling and discusses specific parameters and goals with our client. We then develop a collaborative work plan to utilize the best aspects of the media employed. Our images are not created in a cookie cutter fashion.
