Adding subscribers via the Campaign Monitor API
As well as being able to import and export your subscriber lists as CSV files, Campaign Monitor has an API (Application Programming Interface) that developers can use to manage your subscriber lists.
For example, you may already have subscriber handling built into your content management system, but you want to use Campaign Monitor to send your actual campaigns. You could use the API to connect your CMS to Campaign Monitor and automatically keep everything up to date. So people added to or removed from your list on one would be synchronized with the database on the other end.
