As 2015 comes to a close I’m excited to reflect on the year and to thank you for your incredible support. This year, we’ve seen some of the most remarkable email marketing in the history of the industry. We’ve seen monumental changes yet again in email design with big, beautiful edge-to-edge images and engaging, relevant content.

It was the year of personalization as email marketers took targeted content to a whole new level, a trend highlighted in this new VentureBeat report. For the first time ever, mobile dominated with more than half of all emails being opened on a mobile device. It’s more important than ever to design elegant, engaging, mobile-ready emails. That’s exactly what you have done. In fact, we were so inspired by your emails that we created a gallery to display your stunning work. Check out the Top 100 Email Campaigns of 2015.

2015 was a historic year at Campaign Monitor. Our people are the most important asset and this year we deeply invested in our team. We doubled the size of our company and opened new offices around the world, all to better support you in your local regions. Another important highlight for us was launching our giving back initiative where we contributed nearly 2,000 hours of community service in the neighborhoods where our teams live and work, including building a new school for 74 kids.

One of our core values is, “If our customers kick ass we will too.” We grew our support team, built a new customer success team, launched the Premier Plan to provide phone support, and heavily invested in our product teams to deliver innovation to make you more successful. The result? More than two million marketing professionals (including you!) across 150,594 companies in 186 countries sent beautiful campaigns that helped your businesses grow.

You’re continually pushing us to make our service better. Thank you, we love that. Nothing makes us happier than seeing how you use Campaign Monitor to send newsletters, product announcements, promotional emails, automated emails, surveys, and so many others. And we look forward to delivering more innovation together next year. We’ve got some amazing things planned for 2016 and we’re fired up to unveil the next generation of Campaign Monitor.
