If your emails to Yahoo! accounts have been feeling a little bit claustrophobic recently, we might know why. Over on the Email Standards Project blog I’ve posted about a recent change to their rendering.

Spacing between paragraphs seems to now default to nothing at all, so the quick tip is to make sure you have a 1em bottom margin on paragraphs to preserve that space, like so:

p { margin-bottom:1em; }

Or:

<p style="margin-bottom:1em;">Your paragraph</p>

Read Yahoo! drops paragraph spacing for the full report, and checkout the rest of the Email Standards Project updates while you are there.
