At the start of every year, the web seems full of big predictions for the next 12 months. The email industry is especially fond of gazing into the crystal ball, and year after year I see the same thing creeping to the top of the list – the elusive video in email. Will 2009 really be the year it all comes together?
To compliment these predictions, a number of new vendors have surfaced claiming revolutionary new technology that makes it all possible. I decided to cast the crystal ball aside and run some detailed tests of my own. The results probably won’t surprise most of you, but if you have any thoughts on the concept or other techniques we should try, we’d love to hear from you in the comments.
