We talk to a lot of creative professionals using Campaign Monitor for their clients, and in those conversations, there were two pain points that seemed to come up the most. The first was that it was frustrating when we’d release new features and their clients would find out about them before they did. The second was that it felt unfair we were offering them the same rates their clients could get by signing up and using Campaign Monitor directly.

That all changes today, with the release of our brand new Agency Partner program, built exclusively for creative professionals using Campaign Monitor for themselves and their clients. Once approved, you’ll get an instant 10% discount on all our prices, plus access to early announcements of new features before they are released to the public.

Pre-release announcements

In the past, we’ve been hesitant to share any kind of product roadmap with customers. There are a lot of reasons for this – dates slip, features can change at the last minute. At the same time, it can be frustrating when a client asks about a big new feature in their account that you haven’t even heard of.

As part of the Agency Partner program, we’ll now be providing advance notice about any significant updates or new features before they are released and shared with the public. In some cases, this might be weeks before, and in other cases days before, but we’ll be doing our best to try and give as much notice as possible when we can.

How the discount works

We’ve been very careful to give you complete control over how the discount should be handled once you’re accepted into the program. Depending on the billing settings you have in place for each client, you decide how the discount should be handled.

Here’s an example of what you’d see the first time you logged into your account if you have clients paying for their own campaigns at our base rates:

This is a very targeted program built specifically for creative professionals using Campaign Monitor for their clients. You might be sending campaigns for them or they might be sending their own based on a template you’ve built. If that’s you, we’d love you to apply.

We’ll have a quick look at your account and web site to make sure you fit the bill before you’re accepted. We’re expecting a lot of applications over the coming days, so please be patient with us as we work through them.

    David this is excellent news. I’ve just applied and I’ll be patient whilst you assess my application.
    Just one question though, in my case I create all campaigns for clients and I bill them separately outside of CM. That’s because I also charge them a design/management fee and I want to bundle all the charges together rather than have them receive a separate invoice from me via the CM system.
    I do hope this partner program can apply in this scenrario.
    I have posted this here as I know of other agencies who also work this way.

    Hey Julian, thanks for the comment. Absolutely, the partner program is for all creative agencies, regardless of how they bill their clients. All this means is that your expenses go down 10% instantly. You can choose to pass that on to your clients or enjoy the additional margin.

    How did I miss this? Applying immediately. I too was frustrated that my clients could just go and sign up and immediately get the same price unless I bought 1M credits at a time… good to see you guys have answered those frustrations!
