Home Resources Blog

Hot on the heels of the new Subscribe Button, today I’m happy to announce another simple tool that makes it easy to grow your audience with Campaign Monitor. As of today, every list in your account now has its very own Subscribe Page, a simple, customizable page that lets anyone join your list – no coding required.

Subscribe Page

Unlike the Subscribe button, or our copy/paste forms, which you need to integrate into your site and touch code, the Subscribe Page is just a simple, white label URL that you can easily share with anyone.

Customize everything

We’ve made it easy to tweak everything on this page so you can keep it consistent with your own brand. Change the background color, choose from a range of font styles, or add your own logo.

Customize the form

Just like the subscribe button, you can also choose which fields you’d like to show, in what order, and even set certain fields as required. You can also customize the confirmation message when a new person joins your list.

By default, each subscribe page is hosted at a white label domain, but if you have a custom domain set up for you or a client, we’ll default to that instead.

Looks great on mobile

Just like our Subscribe Buttons, we made sure every Subscribe Page looks great on any mobile device but still stays true to any customizations you’ve made.

Easily track signups

Just like we do for the Subscribe Button, we’ll keep track of how many subscribers have joined your list via the subscribe page so you can see at a glance how it’s been working for you.

Signup count

Subscribe Pages are live and available in all accounts now. You can find them in the Grow your audience section in the sidebar for each of your lists. We can’t wait to see how you guys start using them.

Another great update!!! Good that the background color can be changed, is there anyway to change the button color?

  • Jonathan

Hombre bombre. Supernice! I’ll be trying this out sharpish.

  • Galen King

Looks great. Keep up the awesome work. Well done.

  • Jon Livingston

As usual the Campaign Monitor team keeps on putting out great updates. Great job guys!

  • Roohbir Singh

Another great update as usual. This was one thing that always slowed down the process of ‘going live’ with a new product and new list since I had to wait for my web developer to make this work. Love your work!

  • Kathryn Scobie

Awesome! Thanks Campaign Monitor – you guys rock!

  • David Greiner

Thanks for all the great comments everyone, it’s really nice to see this wil come in handy for a lot of you.

Andy, right now the button color isn’t editable, but I’ve noted your feedback at this end. Cheers.

  • Aileen

We want to use the subscribe button and form but can’t because the button colours totally conflict with brand guidelines on our site. Can you please put in an option to change the colour?

  • Robert Morrow

Great job guys. Once again, very nice work indeed. Please add my name to the editable button list. This would be the cherry on top, to an all ready nice cupcake. :-)

  • Ros Hodgekiss

Hi there Aileen and Robert, sorry our Subscribe Button isn’t quite as flexible as you would like. We’ll certainly look into what we can do about this, but in the interim, you may want to check out our Custom Subscribe Button, which you can change the colours of and more.

We’ll certainly let you know if we make it possible to change the button color in a future update :D

  • Brady Keeling

Is there an option to add checkboxes for multiple subscriber lists (aka, blog, newsletter, etc)? Thanks!

  • Ros Hodgekiss

Hi there Brandy, while it isn’t possible to add the option of subscribing to other lists at present, in many cases, it’s possible to use custom fields and segments to efficiently segment your lists. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact ur team.

I’ve added your vote for this internally, so will keep you posted if it’s something we add – thanks for your feedback here!

  • Anthony Edge

So it seems you have a complete set of tools now!
Question is, when are you going to re-purpose the system to build websites too? The Repeater/Layout tools seem well suited to it…

  • Ros Hodgekiss

Hey there Anthony, while world domination isn’t on our roadmap just yet, we’ll certainly add your vote for it internally :) There are already some pretty cool services like Squarespace that allow you to build sites fairly easily, but you never know what the future holds. Thanks always for your encouragement and enthusiasm!

  • Jimmy

It looks like there is only a mobile app for Apple products. I sure wish there was a subscribe app for android.

  • Ros Hodgekiss

Hi there Jimmy, sorry about this – we may release an Android version of our subscribe apps at a later date, so I’ll add your vote internally and keep you posted. In the interim, you may want to try loading our Subscribe Pages on your device, as these web-based forms should really look great anywhere. All the best!

  • John

Will you be adding the ability redirect people back to our site? I’d like to use this Subscriber page in an email, and if they open it out of an email the “go back” doesn’t go anywhere.

  • Ros Hodgekiss

Hi there John, sorry about this – the button currently uses the browser’s ‘Back’ (ie. history), so when linking from an email or when opening it in a new browser tab, all that will be displayed is a blank page, I’m sorry to say. I’ve let the team know that this is something you’d like to see improved on and will let you know if we work on this in a future update. Sorry for the trouble here!

  • Chris

Is it possible to create multiple signup forms/pages? We want top create a different signup page for different products and/or promotions that we offer. Thanks!

  • Ros Hodgekiss

Hi Chris, you can only create one hosted subscribe page per list at this stage, I’m sorry. However, you can add unlimited subscribe forms to your site, or you can use a service like Unbounce to create product-specific landing pages. If you have any questions about this, please let us know :)

  • Francisco

    You guys rule!

  • AutoSoft NET

How can I track signups through my subscribe page? I see in the article that it’s possible but can’t seem to figure this one out.

  • Kim

    Hi AutoSoft NET,

You should be able to do this through the subscribe page tally. There is more info on that in this helpful article: https://help.campaignmonitor.com/subscribe-pages

    I hope this helps!
