I have a client whose company has a few verticals, and they send emails targeted to each vertical. These verticals have their own mailing lists and campaigns, and also their own people managing them, so I have entered each of them as a separate client into Campaign Monitor.
However, I have one person who needs access to all of the verticals/clients, but I can't add her because the system will only let me give her access to one of my entered clients.
I could just enter the main company as the client and run all campaigns through that master, but that doesn't suit my client well in tracking campaigns, mailing list, and payments.
Is there any reason I can't tie one person to multiple clients?
Hey there dustindress, sorry for this extra hassle here. While the way team management has been setup usually simplifies the management of people, logins and more, I can see why it would cause issues in this scenario. As a result, I'm more than happy to request this gets changed internally and keep you posted as we progress.
In the interim, if you use an email service that supports 'aliases' (like Gmail, Google Apps or Hotmail/Outlook), I can recommend using those. For example, this person who is managing multiple clients can create email addresses like email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com and have all invites sent to the original firstname.lastname@example.org inbox.

I just wondered if there has been any progress on this? I also need to add a person to multiple clients - the system should be able to handle this. (I'm loving CM though!)
Hey there michaelclegg, not as yet, I'm sorry to say. We've been continuing to tally up votes for this, so hopefully, we'll focus on better management of multiple clients shortly. I'll keep tabs on this issue and let you know as soon as I have some fresh news for you :)
