I've used Cm now for around 3 years as a client and rate you as the best with features and user interface. However now I am starting an agency to rebrand CM to my clients I am quite disappointed that you don;t make it easy for agencies to resell.
Let me justify this comment.
Most clients are quite savvy, they've used the likes of mailchimp/icontact/constant contact before and have taken a leap of faith to move to us. We can sell the benefits of our white label CM to our main contact at the client - and they get it, but when our contact has to get approval from his boss what does he show them?
Cm has no videos or client side manuals for agencies to show their clients.!! I see this was raised 3 years ago ! and still no solution back from CM.
I'd use it and I'm sure thousands of other agencies would as without the right tools to sell their service we're not going to compete in a crowded marketplace.
CM. ask yourself how many agencies have opened accounts with you but not used them to the full extent or perhaps many are lying dormant.
You'd double your income from white label if you had user guides and videos we could use. even if they were 'plain old vanilla, without your branding on.
Think about it and lets get some priorities!!
Then also how about a get started pack we can use along with some wording and pics for our agency website?
Hi Tim, thank you so much for your passionate feedback here - I agree, we have been slow off the mark on this one. That said, we did have a reseller pack prior to our rebrand in July, which came complete with screenshots and other materials. Since the rebrand, we've been refreshing the earlier existing resources for resellers, plus looking into producing new ones, too. I'm currently working on a new executive summary for designers to provide to their higher-ups and clients, in branded and white-labelled versions. Following this, we'll also be proritizing other resources we can provide.
To be frank, a big part of the reason why we've been overwhelmed by the task of producing permanent resources like videos and user guides is that the app changes so quickly. We're constantly adding new features and making tweaks to the in-app workflow, which has made us cautious about investing time into resources that may become obsolete soon after they're completed. Of course, this all sounds rather defeatist, but I thought I'd share the gist of what's been discussed behind the scenes.
Moving forward, I'm more than happy to update you when our new executive summary and other resources get released. If this is of interest, let me know and i'll be sure to update this thread.
Thanks for your patience with us, Tim - have a great weekend ahead.
Ros, thanks for your reply.
Any chance I can obtain the previous 'reseller pack' for now until you bring out he revised one. Then the updated exec summary would be great as soon as you have it.
'vanilla' versions fo your videos would also be great until you can make re-brandable ones.
Hi Tim, I'll see if I can whip up some new screenshots for you in the next day or so. In addition, i'll let you know when we have some new resources for you to use. Thanks for your patience!
can;t wait for screenshots
Hi Tim, I've taken a couple of sample screenshots - you can download them here.
In addition, you can also find great screenshots here:

Please let me know if there's anything you're specifically after and I'll do my best to track down an image :)
great thanks alot
Related to this, can I use the guides (http://www.campaignmonitor.com/guides/) to market to clients?
For example, take the content and create a PDF report that I offer for download on my site, with my branding?
Hi mattwnz, we generally ask for attribution, however as you're using the content to market to your clients, we're happy to make an exception here. Just be aware that the guides change quite regularly, so please check back often.
You may be interested to know that we now offer a white-label executive summary - feel free to add this to your library of resources :)
Thanks, I saw the exec summary earlier - looks good.
I am about to relaunch my white label site (www.market2all.com) and wondered what your policy is for "borrowing" blog content, maybe adapting it somehow.
I would also be writing my own but sometimes need inspiration, especially if it relates to the product that we re-sell.
The InDesign page and screenshots help. Would be great to embed the Template Builder video, which I saw somewhere on your site.
Hi Paul, thanks for getting in touch and sorry about the late response. Generally, we don't encourage copying the blog content verbatim, in part, because it gets a little awkward when someone does a search and our content shows up in duplicate :) However, you're more than welcome to take quotes and link back when it's appropriate, or use our findings as part of your marketing material. Of course, we're always happy to provide inspiration, especially if you have your own take or opinion on what we publish :)
While we don't have a white label video for the template builder (this still isn't available to all clients), we do have an embeddable email editor video, which you're more than welcome to use.
Thanks, Paul! If there's anything we can help out with, be sure to let us know. Have a great week!
You really have a good plan in starting up a agency business. If in any case you need more expert of anything else including business naming or product branding, I can recommend you this site http://eatmywords.com/, which helps me as well in starting my own small company back then.
