Change default link color in Sparrow Mail

Sparrow gets clever and links any word that is a URL. See this screenshot of my newsletter in Sparrow: http://cl.ly/MkCE

Any idea how to overwrite it?

Hey there Jason! I don't know of a workaround specifically for Sparrow, but in the past, we've managed to use the following workarounds for other email clients. You can try:

Hum<span>anwrit.es</span> (ie. randomly-placed spans)
or...
<span style="color: #000000;">Humanwrit.es</span>

No promises that either will work, but they may be worth a try. Best of luck!

Hey Rosanne, thanks for the answer, unfortunately it didn't work - Sparrow still overwrote that span color. :(

It's not a trainsmash, not many of our users are on Sparrow, it's just something I picked up and was hoping it was an easy fix.

Could Sparrow be like Gmail and not 'like' #000000 and #FFFFFF in links? (If you are in fact trying to set it to one of them)

Try using #000001 or #FFFFFE in your href tag (and possibly span tag as Ros suggests also) instead.
