Under the hood (code)

Hi CM,

[I'm new to your forum but have been a close follower to your email practises - for best practise.]

Recently, I noticed some interesting code you've included in a mailing. The email opening tracker image (..o.gif) contains an array of inline styling.

...style="height:1px !important;width:1px !important;border-width:0 !important;margin-top:0 !important;margin-bottom:0 !important;margin-right:0 !important;margin-left:0 !important;padding-top:0 !important;padding-bottom:0 !important;padding-right:0 !important;padding-left:0 !important;"...

Could you expand on the reasons for this? (spam avoidance?)
