Problem with break in horizontal border

I've got a client's newsletter with a horizontal internal border.
Just above the words "Kind Regards" the border breaks up.
This happens when viewing in Outlook 2007. It does not happen in Google Mail.
Any ideas how to fix?

I would guess that something is happening with very long lines in your HTML code perhaps - try breaking up the line length to see if that changes the display.

Thanks Mathew.  Tried breaking up the code but no luck.
Ps. In the CM web version it's fine, it's just in Outlook 2007 it's not correct.

Julian / Brian... i'm also seeing this same break in my Outlook 2007 emails (fine in all the others)... would you mind sharing the html fix for this? Was is a certain combination of tags or something that occurred during a template import, etc.

any help is much appreciated... thanks!

Hi biscuitstudios
Brian kindly sent me the revised HTML file but did not advise what the fix was. I'll leave it up to him to decide on what basis he fixes it for you ie. foc or chargeable!  Nb. He may not have subscribed to this thread so you may wish to email him with the URL for this thread on the address above, just to be sure.

Brian

Try  to show us the problem to have an idea and the solution, i think that's the feedback don't you think?

the_fido,

just wanted to let you know that i got great feedback from both Brian and matte... my email code has been tweaked and i just need to find the time to run it through CM's email testing to see if it's working in all the different types of email software.

i'll post back their suggestions and fixes once i'm sure the horizontal break is gone... i think it's going to fix some of my padding issues, too.... again, i hope to be able to do that really soon.

ok, so it's taken some time but i've fixed my break issues in Outlook 2007... i started over with my code and followed CM's new template.. this meant removing all my table + div tags and sticking to old school html using just table, tr, td tags.

then, and most importantly, i used BThies' post as guidance and it's all working out well... see his post called "Margin, Padding, and Nested Tables - What works..."

that's my story so far...
