a client has asked if we can link to past newsletters form his website, so that visitors can view previous news.
Is this possible with MailBuild? Is the link anonymous in that it won't affect the campaign stats at all?
How long are the web versions kept on the mailbuild servers and how reliable will this be of making a "poor man's archive"
If it is not possible, what is the best way of obtaining the final html from mailbuild (without stats affecting personalisation) and recreating as a standard webpage.
Yes, you can easily create a page that links to all the previous campaigns. In your MailBuild account, select the client you are working with, and then go the client settings tab.
On that page, in the right hand column, you'll see "Add sent campaigns to this client's site" which will give you the snippet of code you need to paste into their site.
The web version that comes from this code will not affect your campaign reporting at all, and will be kept for as long as your account remains on our system (we don't close accounts that are inactive except by request).
In your MailBuild account, select the client you are working with, and then go the client settings tab.....
Is this feature available in Campaign Monitor?
Yes, it is in Campaign Monitor too. You'll find it under 'manage clients'. Select a client, and on the right is 'Display sent campaigns on the <client name> web site'.
From Australia to Zimbabwe, and everywhere in between, companies count on Campaign Monitor for email campaigns that boost the bottom line.Get started for free
