I was doing a talk on email marketing this morning and someone asked if sending to UK receipients using an email service providers based elsewhere could be detrimental.
She had heard that UK ISPs and email filtering services would be more likely to block emails originating from foreign servers. She could of course have been told this by a UK based ESP trying to get her to use their service!
My assumption is it should not matter too much where the mail server is based. Any views?
