Is there an easy way to determine if a contact is a duplicate subscriber? We have contest entrants subscribe to receive e blasts, but is there a way to see if those that enter to win are already in another subscriber list? I was going to export all lists, merge together, and re import to weed out duplicates, then export the new list and compare with the merged list, but with 7K subscribers, I think it'll be hard to eyeball.
We don't allow you to search across multiple lists at this stage, but it's certainly something we might consider. Until then you'll need to search each list. Also, just to clarify, our recent upgrade means you can now search across an entire list, instead of having to search active, bounced, unsubscribed, etc separately.
I have a send that comprises 10 subscriber lists, totaling 40,000.
I have 6 other subscriber lists totaling 8000.
I am sure there are some shared subscribers across the two.
i want to send separate newsletters to the 40,000 and 8,000.
How can I have the system check the subscribe lists totaling 8000 against the subscribe lists totaling 40,000 to remove duplicates?
You can't do that in Campaign Monitor automatically I'm afraid - if you send one campaign to multiple lists, we remove the duplicates for you, but not in separate campaigns.
you'd need to export the lists and compare then in another tool (like Excel) to get the final list to send to at the moment.
