Links not working

I sent a test campaign to a number of co-workers. A few came back saying links would send them to the wrong page. They were links included in my email, however.

I re-sent the test to my gmail and work email. All links work fine for me. I double checked the links in my email, even going into HTML to make sure they were the correct URL.

What gives? This happen to anyone else? It seems to be a bug on mailbuild's side? What am I missing?

You may need to display a snippet of HTML so we can see what's going on. If your link is quite long it may be being broken up forcing only 1/2 or more of the link to actually display. - Everything Email.

Hey Morgan,

It's hard to know what happened if the links were working ok when you tested with a Campaign Monitor email, but not for others - were they using the same email client?

My co-worker informs me he uses Mail 3.5 (930.3).

this has just happened to me.
found this post looking for someone else having the issue.
2 of the links on my emailer do not successfully convert back from the CM alternative URL, just going to a page cannot be found. The other links work ok.
HOWEVER, if sent to a hotmail address, the links work fine! They do not work on my work Outlook, or a colleagues.
I will try deleting and reimporting, but if CM has any clues, I'd be grateful

OK, seemed to have fixed it now by rearranging the html with a few more carriage returns in the code.
Very, very strange. Unless it's one of them 'I've now decided to work for no reason' things in life.

I've got a client who has a bunch of links in her campaign and says that sometimes the links work and it'll lead the user to the right direction but sometimes they don't and will then lead them to the automated CM URL which evidently will be a blank page.

She's also got a much higher click rate on the last campaign which suggests people are clicking on the link then going to a blank page and going back to try the link again?

any idea on what's going on?
