At first I thought the URL was too long and my email client was causing this problem. But the image right below it is about the same length.

I have searched far and wide online to figure this out and tested many different ways of shortening the URL to adding angle brackets (which doesn't work!).

Feel free to send your code over and I'll take a look --> firstname.lastname@example.org
You can break your HTML into shorter lines, probably without having to actually touch the image tag at all. HTML renderers normally ignore whitespace, so it should not have any impact on the email.
