Need some help. One of my emails images is broken when it hits the inbox on both Mac Mail and Outlook. When I look at the raw source code, the image URL is truncated causing the image to go missing. At first I thought the URL was too long and my email client was causing this problem. But the image right below it is about the same length.
An example would be
I have searched far and wide online to figure this out and tested many different ways of shortening the URL to adding angle brackets (which doesn't work!).
Any help/thoughts would be much appreciated.
Normally this would happen if your HTML had very long lines in it - can you check that out?
Yes that is the case. I'm still a rookie at this hard coding for HTML, so I am not completely sure how to shorten it. Within the image tag there is a bunch of information for the actual image. But correct me if I'm wrong, it has to remain that way so at to "control" the rendering of the image.
Feel free to send your code over and I'll take a look --> email@example.com
You can break your HTML into shorter lines, probably without having to actually touch the image tag at all. HTML renderers normally ignore whitespace, so it should not have any impact on the email.
