I have been building a nice html email bullet proof button to include a nice call to action in my latest email design.
I added a button class to the code.
It works well everywhere I tested it and, as I use background images, if they are not supported it just shows a flat colourful button with html text.
As I was testing I found out that Yahoo Mail Classic add around the link of my button an horrible well ugly and grayish html button element.
I changed the class name form button to _button and the ugly button is gone now.
Just thought I might let you know if ever somebody would like to add some button classes some days.
That's a very interesting discovery, thanks for posting.
For the people who loves fun i found out that:
class="_button" doesn't support :hover in IE 5/6 and Outlook, but class="button" does.
So I changed my class name completely.
