I'm a big fan of CM and always attempt to be compliant with anti-spam practices.
Our double opt-in process involves the standard CM sign up webform plus (1) a welcome web page advising what will happen next, (2) an opt-in email and then, if opting in, (3) a confirmation and thank you web page.
I'd be interested in knowing what other CM users think of our opt-in text. Feel free to post the text that you use or make suggestions/provide tips.
