I have found that Outlook will insert a carriage return in my HTML code if a given line is over 1000 characters long (approx.). Normally, this would go unnoticed, but on occasion it just so happens that this inserted break is in the middle of link, which in effect, breaks the link to the user.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and know of ways to fix the problem (aside from re-writing the content or adding extra breaks in my code)?
While I haven't necessarily ran into this problem myself I have seen it before. What we recommend doing is simply putting your own soft return in the code so you don't even give Outlook a chance to be bad. This shouldn't affect the display.
Hope that helps. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
