I was wondering if CM's policy of indefinitely hosting images uploaded during the email design process is leading to an inefficient use of storage resources. Would it be better for CM AND for clients if uploaded images were accessible via a library? That way clients could store all their email related images in CM, and CM would only have to store one version of it, rather than a different version for each email.
As a side note, does anyone have any comments about whether it is better or worse (from a performance or convenience standpoint) to use another hosting service for images, such as flickr?
