As a company we've tried using CM for a small scale e-shot to follow up on a exhibition we held last month. We're very happy with the service and cost but recently the analytics seem to have broken.
We sent out to 170'ish recipients, half of which opened, and the link click activity over the first few weeks was as I expected. Since then it is reported that certain members have opened the email over 1,000 times, which I can't believe is actually the case.
Is this something we've set up incorrectly, or possibly a known issue?
Please see http://help.campaignmonitor.com/topic.aspx?t=89 for how he measure opens - very large numbers often suggest the email has been forwarded by that person to a mailing list - each time one of those recipients opens it, it would count as an open for the original subscriber.
