Controlling colour of link on <$title>

How do you change the colour of a linked title <$title> ? It's always blue.
I've tried all manner of inline varations but no luck? Am I overlooking something really obvious?

Sounds like you need to edit the stylesheet in the template.

Hi Deko, absentee is right. You'll need to have something in your style sheet. Since your title is sometimes a link (but it's optional) you'll want to add a style in your css in to style the link itself. So if you have something like <h2><$title></h2> then in your styles you'd want

h2 a {color:whatever;} etc

With the inline styles you're putting in you're just styling the h2, but you can't style the link itself until it's been inserted, which isn't until you've added your content (so not in your template). The style will be moved inline automagically during your campaign creation.

ok great thanks for that.

I'm from the old skool, always build my emails in tables with inline styles, feels a bit weird letting the system take control of styling.

I'll give this a whirl and see how things work :)
