So, I have many clients using this product.
One of my long term clients now wants to get on board. They are a media and airline advertiser in the video industry and have, via sweepstakes submissions and their business model, cultivated - legally 100% and not purchased - a DB of over 250,000 emails.
What am I, and this system, up against when wanting to send out emails of that number?
Is it possible - can the system handle it and do it?
Will it take sending several emails to cover the entire DB?

Good question. The unfortunate reality is that even the most legitimate of lists, when created by competitions and sweepstakes and the like, cause far more complaints than typical campaigns.
There is a big jump from entering a competition to receiving general advertising from the competition sponsor, and we see a lot of people getting trouble from such lists.
So no matter which tool your client uses, they are likely to have some trouble. For clients bringing in lists above 200,000 we typically recommend using a provider that specialises more in high volume campaigns.
Technically Campaign Monitor can certainly handle them (some customers have grown their lists with us well beyond that) but as a business we normally focus on the slightly smaller side.
From Australia to Zimbabwe, and everywhere in between, companies count on Campaign Monitor for email campaigns that drive real business results.Get started for free
