Hi there ,
One of my clients is unhappy that I've limited the range of font colours in the email designs and would like to see a much wider range (though the font type itself might be the same), e.g. to highlight different words ina paragraph with orange, blue, red, etc. I instinctively know this is not best practice (!) but can't find any detailed recommendations anywhere about this (even on useit.com). Any thoughts or pointers to info about this are appreciated.
If I were you Ben, I'd employ the changes your client wishes and show then the difference in results. I don't think you're going to see much difference, especially when it's the copy itself that has more of a factor in deciding the spam rating of an email.
