Images from another server not displaying in emails

Ads that are not hosted on our server (the image source is an outside URL provided by the client) are not displaying once the campaign is imported into Campaign Monitor. The images look fine when viewed in a browser, but are then missing in Campaign Monitor and in email tests. When I copy the image from the URL and upload them to our own server, they display fine.
Inserting these ads worked fine until this week, what has changed?

Can you please contact support at Campaign Monitor and attach the actual files you are importing? We'll be able to take a look for you.
