Show subscribers that used the form?

Is there a way to see a list of the subscribers who joined the list using the subscribe form?

Hi jdancisin,

This isn't possible at this time as our system does not differentiate the source of the subscriber. Sorry.

Just to be clear though, you could certainly record the source of a signup yourself - see http://www.campaignmonitor.com/blog/post/2464/how-to-personalize-your-permis-1/ for an example of how recording that during signup can come in handy.

There is actually a way to track this by adding a hidden input field in your form and tracking that field as a Segment in CM.

I was curious about this myself and added a line like this to my form:
<input type="hidden" name="xx-x-xxxxx" id="Source" value="Web" />

That's easy enough to track as a Segement. Hope that helps.

That's right nebelung, it's a hidden field method that is used in the blog post above too, perfect for passing through some information about where the subscriber came from.

Ahh, sorry Matthew, did not mean to repeat what you had already posted. I looked, or should I say glanced, at the blog post without scrolling below the fold and missed that part. So I thought they were recording it in a separate database during sign up... my mistake.

Now if we could only see those custom fields as part of our subscriber list instead of having to create segments, it would be perfect. :)
