My client sends 2 very similar newsletters to 2 different lists. They use separate templates, but in the event that the content is the same, they would like to be able to copy the content into the other template. Is there an any way to copy all of the content from one campaign into another? Or to just copy a campaign and then pick the other template.
Once the first campaign has been sent, you can use 'edit and resend' to copy it back to drafts. At that point, you can choose a different template and all the content is automatically moved into that new template.
How come it's possible to copy campaign only AFTER you've sent it once?
Why it's not possible to copy draft? Our customer would like to create mostly identical campaigns for different segments and send them all at the same time. It would be nice that they could create the first campaign by adding content to the template and then copy the draft and make the small needed changes for different versions of the newsletter. Now they have to make a "fake" send-out just to be able to make copies of the newsletter.
Hi turan, welcome to the forums. Giving folks the ability to copy campaigns that are not out of draft yet is something we're certainly considering. We don't have a timeline as yet, but we'll let everyone know once we get closer to that point. In the interim, I've added your vote for it - thank you for your feedback on this!
Hi all, it's Ros here. Just to let you know, you can now duplicate draft campaigns within Campaign Monitor. Here's how to do it.
Many thanks for your ongoing feedback - we've really appreciated you being vocal about how we can improve the app. Sometimes it really is the little things that can make all the difference for you and your clients :)
