html image doesn't show up in gmail emails

For some strange reason when i send out a new campaign, the images sent to subscribers with gmail accounts doesn't show up, it is just a white blank screen. We have a link imbedded in the email that doesn't show up but you can drag the pointer over the area where it should be and still click the link. It will still have all these problems when click" display images below" button in the gmail settings at the top of each email. Why is this and how can this be corrected?
Thanks, Eric

HI Eric,

It is hard to know without seeing the actual email, but have you checked for an unclosed comment tag or other HTML error? That is the normal cause.
