Plain html bullets not appearing in Outlook

I have an unordered list:
                      <ul>
                        <li>Item 1</li>
                        <li>Item 2</li>
                      </ul>
The bullets show in the preview, but not in Outlook. Any ideas?

Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian,

Outlook 2007 requires margins to display the bullets. They are there, they are just shunted way off to the left and so are not visible. Dave Greiner wrote this great blog post on how to get those bullets to show, and how to target it only to Outlook 07, why not give that a go?

You may also wish to use encoding for the bullets to achieve this, and build a table to contain each one. The advantage you get is being able to control the indent, spacing & padding without any CSS.

The encoding for a bullet in HTML is &#8226 (add the ; to the end)
