I'm using <$title default='Enter Title Here'$> at the top of my email template, as a main title for that particular newsletter issue.
For some reason, in the auto generated text-only version, this displays below all the articles.
I'd rather not complicate the client's life by telling them to edit the text-only version each time and manually move the title to the start rather than end of the newsletter.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to get around this issue?
Thanks for any help!!
Due to the way the plain-text version is generated from templates I'm afraid there's no simple way around this. Unfortunately your client will need to manually make this change for each campaign.
If you have any suggestions for how to better format the plain-text versions though we'd love to hear them.
