Campaign waiting for approval, and client getting twitchy

I tried to send a campaign yesterday, with just over 40,000 subscribers, the first time I've sent a campaign that big, so naturally, it went to pending approval.

Because the Campaign Monitor web site specifically states that a reply will be received within twelve hours, that is what I told my client.

Now I look like an idiot, because nearly 24 hours later... silence, despite a chasing email to support. The client is chasing me. "But you said 12 hours" etc etc.

Is anyone reading this who has the capacity to do anything about the lack of response?
