Importing "First Name", "Last Name" from a CSV file?

The CSV (thousands of records) I wish to import into CampaignMonitor... is made like this:

"First Name","Last Name","Address","Country","Email","Phone"

...the question is: how should I import the "First Name", "Last Name" fields since the default "Name" field (which already contains fullname + firstname + lastname) is not editable??? :| That's a huge problem!

Thank you.

Use a simple formula in Excel to combine the first name and last name.

Yea, open it up in Excel and use the formula =CONCATENATE("A1"," ","A2") to join the two cells.

Obviously you'll want to change A1 and A2 to reflect the respective columns, the " " in the middle adds a space between the two names, so you'll get John Smith instead of JohnSmith.

Thanks this helped me out. Minor correction on the formula, this should work:

=CONCATENATE(A2," ",B2)
