Strange Bounce Back

I just sent an old campaign to a friend to show him how the template looks and received the following error.  Can someone explain it.:

That bounce message isn't very helpful (the recipient server doesn't seem to have given any information). I've checked our actual bounce logs and we've not received any bounces from, so unfortunately we don't have any more info for you.

Do you know that it is the correct address, and he was not having any problems with his mail server?
