Custom Font & Font Size

Hi

Is it possible to somehow embed a specific font in a newsletter .. eg. vag or tunga ?

..and I notice there seems to be a limit on size .. any idea what it is ? I tried a font at 30 and it defaults to 16.

Looking forward to some help ..

thanks

Hi Haystack,

Yes you can, you just need to be prepared that not all readers may have this font however you can setup your style in such a manner:

Here's two ways you could set this up:

<style>
body { font-family:Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:36px; }
.custom-style { font-family:Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:36px; }
</style>

Using the body style sets a global font style for all text, whereas the custom style can be applied individually. Note, you can still set the body style and have further customised styles on top also.

Make sure you have backup fonts in place, so replace the 'Geneva' with the font of your choice, keeping everything else the same.

Lastly, there is no technical limit on fonts sizes, but don't go nuts as you may find yourself getting blocked by certain ISP's.
