Couple questions about best practices when managing lists...

We just started using Campaign Monitor and it has been great so far. We started off with a couple separate lists to send different campaigns to. And we keep creating smaller lists to resend some older campaigns to. Now the lists are starting to pile up.

I would like to have a master list that I can import the new names into after sending the first campaign to them. Then delete the smaller lists. Optimally the contacts that unsubscribe would not be imported to the master list. Is this possible and what is the best workflow for managing this? Thanks for any help!

To answer your immediate question, by default your lists are set so that when people unsubscribe, they are removed from the client's other lists and also added to the suppression list.

That means that when you import your file into the master list, they won't be reimported.

Just to clarify, I can import the lists again from the original CSV file and any names that had unsubscribed would not import into the new master list?

Is there any way to merge lists already imported through the CM admin?
