My recent email is being classed as spam/junk by Outlook 2003 and 2007 and I don't know why?
The subject is "You can still get a greatly reduced rate from your Gym" which looks reasonable to me, and the content is not 'spammy' at all (in my opinion).
A preview is here (if this is valid) - http://email.ijlwebsolutions.com/T/ViewEmail/y/E91F0CE60E4AF7A9/631793E09B2073B8C5EC08CADFFC107B
Can anyone suggest why?
Try replacing the subject line with something else and re-test to see if this is indeed the culprit.
Also don't take offense but your subject line should probably be revised as words like 'greatly reduced' reminds me of something viagra spammers would use. At the end of the day everyones spam filters are different so at least do a bit of trial & error until you get the best results.
Unfortunately it can be a pain to track down the cause, but certainly the talk of prices and reducing could be part of it, and that would be a good place to start.
